A MODE 3 (IEC61851-1) FAST EV CHARGER FOR RESIDENTIAL USE
DLB (Dynamic Load Balancing) is available in the BCPM series AC EV Charger for home use, when the EV
charger is working with other household appliances at the same time, the DLB box can maintain the dynamic
balance of the total household current and ensure the safety of electricity to avoid home over load.
Set the Max current value of the main line on the DLB box. The charger will read this current value and
automatically adjust the charging current (6A-32A) according to the idle load quota, so that the total household
current will not be overloaded due to charging. This function can effectively use the power supply without providing
additional power for the charging or home line update.
DYNAMIC LOAD BALANCING FUNCTION
The BENY BCP series AC EV Charger for home use is equipped with DLB (Dynamic Load Balancing) technology. When the EV charger operates simultaneously with other household appliances, the DLB box ensures the dynamic balance of the total household current. This feature guarantees the safety of electricity and prevents home overload, allowing for efficient and secure charging of your electric vehicle.
PEN FAULT DETECTION
The EV charger equipped with PEN protection actively monitors the electrical system. In the event of a fault, it automatically disconnects all poles, including the earth conductor.
Internally, the charger’s design incorporates a contactor that isolates the ground. When the PEN line is disconnected, the contactors KM1 and KM2 are immediately and automatically disengaged. Only a minimal leakage current, less than 1mA, flows between CP and PE to the L line. This leakage current is below the threshold of human perception, ensuring there are no safety risks for individuals using the charger.
When the EV charger operates simultaneously with other household appliances, the DLB box ensures the dynamic balance of the total household current.
This feature guarantees the safety of electricity and prevents home overload, allowing for efficient and secure charging of your electric vehicle.
